How to Play PUBG Mobile on PC (Windows 10, 8.1, 7 & Vista)

With over 1,00,000 downloads via Google Play Store, the game is leading the chart. Now you may imagine how popular the game is. Shooting games on a touch screen are fabulous but we all agree that with a huge screen the game is unmatched.

The initial step to play PUBG Mobile on PC involves Setting up of Tencent Gaming Buddy Emulator.

  • Wait for the download to complete. This process will take a few minutes.
  • A new window will pop up during the installation process where PUBG Mobile will launch when finished.

Enhancing Emulator Settings For Elevated Performance:

During the downloading process, you can change settings for better performance. To get this done, click on the menu present at the right top corner of the Emulator. Go to Settings option.


Settings” is broadly divided into two major functions:

  • Basics
  • Engine

Basics:  Make significant changes as shown in the picture below to enhance the performance of your game.


Engine Tab: Turn off “Prioritized Dedicated GPU”. By discontinuing this option emulator will utilize the system’s Dedicated GPU. If you do not have dedicated GPU no difference will be made in the emulator’s performance.


Select the highest memory by clicking on Memory option from Engine icon.  Set to preferable resolution.


Adjusting the In-Game Settings:

After the optimal settings adjustments during game downloading, you will start the game and go to Control Panel. It is located at the top right corner of the emulator. When you tap on it, it will show all the listings for further modification.

If you have played shooting games before then you might be familiar with this. Always change Control settings and hide the panel when not in use.


Sign up if you are a new PUBG player via Facebook and show your ranks to your friends. If you are an existing player and you sign in to your FB account with the same credentials all your data will sync and you can play from the level you closed.


Example: If you have 16 GB RAM Intel Core Processor use the following settings.

Go to Settings> Graphics> Balanced> Frame rate> Low


The game runs decently with these customized settings. Do not compare it with your Smartphone play because you are playing a game via emulator. So there might be some lacking even if your system is a high-end PC. As it is a beta emulator, there may be some issues.

By clicking on the controls tab you can change movements as per your convenience.



 If you feel that default sensitivity is too receptive due to which you are not getting control over it. Lower them to make it manageable.



As you are playing a game with mouse and keyboard you need to change controls as per your preference. Click on Vehicle> Single Joystick, by this setting WASD keys will work better.



Adjust background voices and volume in speaker or microphone through this option.


Quick Chat:

You can chat while playing. This icon gives you the opportunity to communicate while playing. There are a lot of options like “hold it on, don’t move, impressive” and many more dialogues/messages that you can select while playing with other players.



If you want to play the game in your regional language you can change it. For this select Language and choose from 12 listed languages.

When it comes to PUBG Mobile on PC via Tencent Gaming Buddy, the mouse and keyboard controls are quite sturdy. Here is the keys information:

Changing Shortcut Keys in Tencent Gaming Buddy:

Open Tencent Gaming Buddy Interface and do the needful:

Play> PUBG Mobile Settings> Controls> Customize> Keyboard icon from side menu> Click> Save.

Remember, you cannot change all shortcut keys function.

PUBG Mobile allows you to play only with the other users that are PUBG players playing via Tencent gaming Buddy. Due to this, you will be restricted to this platform only.
